Finding Common Ground in Croydon on Nature and Climate
Saturday, 12 October 2024
Our natural world is in crisis. Our current system is failing to prioritise it and halt its decline. We all have a part to play in the protection of nature, and in order to save and restore what we have left, we must act now.
The UK General Election in 2024 has reshaped the political landscape with a high turnover of MPs, a new government, presenting new opportunities to re-focus minds on climate and nature action. In this crucial first 100 days, we will come together to play a key role in showcasing the breadth and diversity of public support for climate and nature.
On 12th October Croydon Climate Action, Greenpeace Croydon and WWF are inviting you to join thousands of others who are meeting with their MPs and finding Common Ground on climate and nature issues.
We will be coming together to run a workshop, bringing together people from across Croydon to connect, collaborate and share experiences, whilst working together to unpick the challenges and obstacles that are preventing immediate action to uncover the solutions. From nature access, air pollution, food systems and green energy, we will be discussing various issues, as well as solutions, with our local MPs in Croydon.
Date: 12th October
Time:1:30-4:30pm
Location: LSBU Croydon Campus
